​​This is the governing body chaired by the Manager. It is made up of: tenured professors, researchers, representatives of the administrative technical staff and students.
The Department Manager, who chairs the Council, is Prof. Michele Mastroianni (until 31 October 2023).
The Assistant Manager of the Department is Prof. Iolanda Poma (until 31 October 2023)
