LASA – Laboratory of Archaeology and History of Art

The LASA organises seminars and studies in the disciplinary field of archaeological and historical-artistic heritage of the three-year Bachelor’s degree course in Literature and the Master's degree course in Modern, Classical and Comparative Philology.

It is also proposed to all students of the Department interested in archaeological and historical-artistic disciplines as a reference point for the preparation of exams and for the development of research work at various levels (seminars, degree theses, doctoral theses, independent research postgraduate); it also offers a venue and means to reinforce the university teaching with integrative forms of learning.

LASA offers: areas for study, discussion and any self-managed activities; consultation of iconographic material; consultation and temporary loan of bibliographic material; technical instrumentation; courses and activities in the following fields of graphics (graphic processing of materials and excavation reliefs); survey (survey operations and documentation of excavations and / or monuments), computer processing (cataloguing, statistical analysis, image processing), photographic (photographic documentation of excavations, monuments and materials).

Laboratory opening hours:

  • Monday: 2pm-6pm
  • Tuesday: 9am-2pm, 4pm-6pm
  • Wednesday: 9am-1pm, 2pm-6pm
  • Thursday: 9am-1pm, 2-6pm
  • Friday: 2-6pm
