First and only joint honours master's degree programme in Italy, combining two courses: Master's degree in European and American Modern Languages ​​and Literatures (LM37) and Master's degree in Planning and Management of Tourism Systems (LM49).

On one hand, we build in-depth knowledge in different literary fields, according to historical and critical perspectives capable of initiating comparative studies; on the other hand, we develop skills and competences of linguistic-cultural intermediation, integrated with economic and social knowledge in the public and private sector.

We also propose the development and strengthening of management skills in the tourism sector with disciplines aimed at training critical skills regarding the functioning and planning of tourism systems and the local and global tourism market, in a 'glocal' perspective that crosses between (one one hand) international, multilingual and multicultural openness and (on the other hand) in-depth attention to the territory and its economic, geographical, social, political and cultural characteristics and dynamics.

The course provides a transversal interdisciplinary education characterised by advanced skills in the linguistic, literary, cultural, historical, artistic and territorial areas, within a rich disciplinary panorama that is completed by economic-social areas and territorial sciences.

How to present the Plan

Online plan

If, in the academic year 2019-20, you registered in the 1st year or enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year, you must complete the web study plan by accessing "Online student services" with your University credentials.

You can submit your study plan only after completing the enrolment application. To find out more about your University IT credentials, the "Web plan" service is active only in the periods in which applications are allowed: from 5 October to 10 January 2020 (Master's degrees).

Hard copy plan

If, in the academic year 2019-20, you enrolled in years subsequent to the 3rd year, you must fill in and submit the paper-only study plan (option card) that you find in the Option cards section of your course of study: download the card relating to your course year, fill it in and submit it to the Student Admin Office. For degree programmes based in Vercelli, the paper plan must be delivered to the Student Admin Office, via G. Ferraris 107 Vercelli by 31 October 2019.

During your studies you are followed by a teacher-tutor who is assigned to you from among the teachers and researchers of your course.
