Interdepartmental Research Centre in Emergency and Disaster Medicine and IT applied to Medical teaching and practice

CRIMEDIM - Interdepartmental Research Centre in Emergency and Disaster Medicine and IT applied to Medical Teaching and Practice aims to promote and develop research and training activities in emergency and disaster medicine with particular attention to application, in this context, of new information technologies.

It was established by Rector's decree in September 2007, from the collaboration of the UPO Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine and the UPO Department of IT Studies; today it constitutes a national and international point of academic reference on issues of major emergencies, carrying out research, consultancy and training.

Since December 2016, Disum also adheres to CRIMEDIM with the aim of helping to facilitate collaboration, enhancing the psychological, sociological and cultural skills in the broadest sense that the Department offers.
