Credits and activity approved as “Other Activity”

Credit-earning activities of the University pursuant to Art. 10, subsection 5, letter d.

As part of the "Other educational activities", the student can gain credits (in addition to those envisaged in the study plan) for adequately certified professional skills and abilities. The recognition of completed activities occurs following presentation by the student of the certified documentation of the activity carried out.

The Course Council verifies the validity and value of the documentation, also in terms of content.

The Course Council may award the student the credits relating to each activity, upon request from the referring teacher, who certifies the correct completion of the activity by the student.

Activity 2023/2024

Workshop on migration and asylum

Procedure:                                                                                                                                                                   Each meeting will last 3 hours and will include an initial part in the form of a frontal lesson, followed by laboratory and group tasks, actively involving the students.

Requisites for acquisition of credits:                                                                                                                Participation and short final essay on a topic chosen from among those addressed in the sessions. Regular attendance at lessons, for a total of 18 hours; the writing of the essay and reading of the texts provided during   the laboratory will allow you to acquire 3 academic credits (estimated total commitment 75 hours, 18 of attendance + 57 of individual activity).

Period:
Weekly workshops will take place in the first semester (October - December 2023). The meetings will be in person. Slight adjustments in the timetable of the modules may occur according to teaching needs and will be communicated during the course of the project.

The course is open to students of the UNIUPO DISUM bachelor and master degree programmes.
